Light Table CVC Words

The light table has definitely been a favorite center in the classroom this year!  The students have been having fun exploring all the different items I have put out so far.  You can see my previous post about everything I have for our light table here.
Today I introduced the new CVC Word Pages I created. The students spell the cvc words using the same alphabet glass stones that I made for previous activities.

Mini Eraser Activities

Who doesn't love an adorable mini eraser?!  I know my students can't get enough of them!  Not only do we use them as manipulatives in math, I also have them out for the students to explore during our morning games.  They love to sort them, make patterns with them, and they especially love to pretend they are cookies to serve!

When I saw these spaceship and alien erasers at Target, I had to grab them for my Kinders, and I created these activities to use with them.

When we learn about digraphs, I usually make an anchor chart for each digraph.  As a class, we discuss words that have that specific digraph in them.  I write the words on the chart, but then students are allowed to add words to our charts as they find them around the room, or in books.   In the past, I usually would just make the charts by hand, but this year I decided to whip some up on the computer so they were a little bit nicer.  If you would like a set of these FREE digraph anchor charts, you can get them on Teachers Pay Teachers, here.
